2017 Scholarship Program
Please share the attached information with your colleagues, staff and patients.
I am pleased to announce that the KP Asian Association Scholarship Program is now accepting applications from high school students graduating in Spring, 2017. KPAA scholarships recognize students who have brought demonstrable, tangible benefit to an Asian community and have the potential to be future leaders. Students may have demonstrated this potential through their activities in school, in the community, or in the face of unusual circumstances.
Since its inception in 2000, we have awarded 100 scholarships totaling more than $250,000. In 2017, we are pleased to offer seven scholarships of $3,500 each.
We are now accepting applications online at http://aim.applyists.net/KaiserPermanenteAsianAssoc. Online applications must be submitted by April 5, 2017. The scholarships will be formally awarded on June 16, 2017, at the KPAA Asian Pacific American Heritage Awards Dinner in Oakland.
